This series is designed for those who are new to yoga, or looking for a refresher. You will learn yoga poses commonly taught in Hatha and Vinyasa classes, including standing poses, mild backbends, supine stretches and basic flows. It is an active class, so it is most appropriate for people who can get down on the ground and back up with confidence. You will learn how to use props to support your body, as well as simple pranayama, meditation and yogic philosophy. Class meets in the rec room.
